Honestly this is 2/3 fine. From left up until the tree. Rest on right hand side is really not worth the composition. Crop it and loose the panorama effect but get a hell of a better composition. Just my personal opinion.

Rest is very good!

The light, perspective, snow and all. Not sure maybe about the dude skiing but I guess that is part of a skiinig resort :p

Nice white snow covered mountains in the distance.

I must agree with Patrick on the composition. I'd also crop at the tree on the right. It makes a much stronger comp and I think the area to the right of the tree is unneeded. A beautiful scene!

Patrick, he's snowboarding! Get it right!!!

As for the image, I'm with Gary and Patrick. The right side leaves more to be desired IMO. +8

Good notes, all... I was kinda sad that there were people in this shot, but decided that it was just a bit too much creative license for my conscience to remove them and all the ski lift stuff.

I agree with the composition crits as well now that I've stepped back from it. Hmmm... I just hate to lose all those lovely foggy clouds. I think I'll apply what you're all saying here to the next one (the ski season is almost here, after all) and leave this one as an "if you were there" piece.

Very nice. I do agree that the image should be cropped but I'd remove the tree and so crop to the left of it. The one problem with making this a black and white image is that it makes the people difficult to see. They tend to blend into the background (not so much in the larger version). Would you consider a selective desat where the people still show some color? Just a thought. Or, as suggested above ... just clone them out entirely.

Very nice work.

Firstly beautifully exposed shot !! Yeah i agree too that the ski'ers could be cloned out..
Another option could be to also clone out the tree on the left which cuts the flowing line of the mountain, thus creating a frame by itself. Maybe after u cleaned up the tree U will better options of choosing a crop... Just a suggestion.

Nice exposure. Agree with Patrick about the right side but I can understand why you were attached to the foggy clouds. The peak in the distance looks very interesting. With a crop on the right and a little off the top you could place it at the 1/3 intersection.

Hmm, I like the right side. Maybe it could have been a better composition without the triangle of snow/land on the left?

People in panoramic pictures are not always bad. Sometimes they can give viewer some useful information about perspectives.

But i'm sure nobody thinks less of you if you remove those people from the image.

Great shot greg +9/9
