Description
Winter is creeping into the Gorge...I was torn on how to categorize this, I had a panoramic composition of this all ready to go, but then stopped at the same spot the next day and took it again, this time with incredible clouds. This is a combination of the two captures, taking advantage of the best elements of both.
This composition is a composite of about 24 separate images, all taken with my trusty Canon SD800IS.
I know I've been throwing crazy amounts of stuff up here lately, but I've been getting some great shots and had to share. I'll cool it a bit now

I must say i never saw such violence in a cloud formation. Looks like everything is exploding back there.I also like those green/blue colour tones. It gives the scene some extra suspense.

some transition areas betwn clouds & mountain at the center lower half of the photo could be more subtle.. perhaps u could try some selective processing on the area... !!
